Nice. Awesome. Beautiful. I didn't fall asleep while watching this movie, because in most cases, 95% of all the movies I've watch, I fall asleep.

Run Then Eat, Makes You Feel Good, Not Guilty!

Today I have a brunch date with my discipleship girlfriends, I learned we are having buffet at Spiral (at Sofitel Philippine Plaza)

So I force myself out of bed at 5.45am this morning, grab DH to join me and ran for 1 hour at Mall of Asia By The Bay, just to compensate the buffet that I'm going to indulge! I did actually feel good, work out first then reward yourself!

Tomorrow, I'm flying out with DH and my babies. Vacation Rocks!

Happy New Year Everyone :)

I look forward to 2010, another year of journey with my Master, my Lord, Jesus.

Ready for 2010?

Folks, we are nearing the end of 2009! Are your ready for 2010? I don't want to make resolutions but I always try to do my best to remember the important things that counts for "eternal".

For me, as it is an everyday reminder until God takes me home one day, I will have to keep on working/growing in these areas highlighted in RED

1 Corinthians 14:3:8
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

Yesterday while having our discipleship brunch at Edsa Shangri-la, two of my d-girls shared about their  friend, only 31 years old, passed away from brain aneurysm. It was a sudden death. She just gave birth 4 months ago to a baby girl. Her husband, family were all in shock and the grief is just overwhelming. Hours later after I finished all my errands for the day, the reality of death sinks in to me, and I thought, if it can happen to her, it can happen to anyone, including me, anytime, any moment. Am I ready? I thought about my young children.. I thought about my husband. Last night i had a long discussion with DH and I started to make "bilin". He looked at me and said "In case anything like that happens, either one of us go, God will take care of you, God will take care of me." Yeah, that's a profound truth, it is His promise. Then I felt better, and slept the night away..

The events today reminded me, live each day as if your last..

Held

This is not a new song, but i just recently re-discovered it and found this is one of the best Christian song, "Held" sang by Natalie Grant.

Now listen to this song.. It was about being HELD by God, in spite of the trials that we face here on earth.

Statements To Ponder

I just want to make it clear that I'm not judging Tiger Woods by the scandal that is going on around his private life now. But this particular article has some interesting statements that we can ponder..

WASHINGTON (AFP) – Tiger Woods, a global punch line for jokes in the wake of a humiliating personal scandal, must cope with being a target of ridicule before he can hope to regain his mystique as the world's top golfer.
Consider some of the Internet humor that over the past 10 days has turned the world's first billion-dollar athlete into a laughingstock and forced him to learn the hard way that money can not buy happiness.
Woods drives well on a fairway but doesn't fare well on a driveway. Rivals want to know the best club to beat Tiger. He hit a tree and a hydrant because he couldn't decide between a wood and an iron. His new nickname is Cheetah.
There are video what-ifs of how a dispute between Woods and his wife Elin might have looked and gossip-page reports of multiple women linked to all manner of extra-marital betrayals by Woods.
Privacy that Woods spent years protecting was shattered early on November 27 when he was taken to hospital after driving into a hydrant and a tree.
Woods denied the most sordid of stories as to what led to the accident, but hours after a voice mail was released by a woman claiming to have had an affair with the golf superstar, he released an apology for undetailed "sins."
"I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart," Woods said. "I've not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family."

Woods often talks of learning from defeat after missing out on a golf title, but the lessons from this incident figure to dictate a major turning point in his life, even if the drama plays out behind mansion doors in a gated community.
Love, trust, loyalty and respect are not prizes that can be won on a golf course. Unlike a tournament title, once they are lost there is no guaranteed chance to reclaim them next year from wives, children, parents or supporters.

Woods will not return to golf until next year, when the world will focus on how well he performs after the scandal, just as it did earlier this year when he came back from a knee injury.
How well Woods the man handles the mess that his private life has become will likely determine how well he plays when he returns and whether or not he can recapture any level of the respect he spent a lifetime building.
