From Washington D.C. we are headed for Hershey, PA-the sweetest place on Earth! We had the opportunity to learn how chocolate is made, see the Hershey's characters in person, and even try the delicious food and desserts.
We then head to the Corning Glass Center, featuring over 30,000 objects from every era of glass-making, including real glass-making on-site. Visitors can see the fragile art of glass-making. We witnessed firsthand craftsman and artisans handily making superheated glass into delicate decorative pieces.
Afterwards, we depart for American portion of Niagara Falls, to see the majestic "night views" of nature up close. It is important to note that Niagara Falls, consisting of the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls, features spectacular views in the nighttime.
It was such a hectic but fun day! We checked in at Holiday Inn Amherst at Buffalo NY. Beautiful Room!

Travelog Day 2: Maryland & Tour of Washington DC
We were so exhausted from the 23hour flight that we all slept like babies. We woke up to a cold weather 2C!! But oh so good... look at the morning fog!
DH also downloaded CCF's Sunday worship in my computer, we're worshiping in Maryland!
HS & ES with 3 kids went to Virginia. While today we will meet our tour group at DC. They drop us off at Smithsonian Area, we had lunch at American Indian Museum.
Then we met our tour guide BL! And the tour group of 61. First stop was the Air & Space Museum, then we went around Capitol Hill.
The White House, Lincoln & Jefferson Memorial, Korean War & Vietnam War Memorial.
Longgg day.. So tired. We checked in at Hilton in Gaithersburg and forgot to take the picture of our room! So I took one when it was already messy LOL

Travelog Day 1: Arrival
Continuing from Day 1, because USA time.
This is our view from the plane. It was drizzling in Washington DC.
Our base for the whole trip before we go on tour and after is at funny couple and cousins HS & ES! We got off at Washington DC, they picked us up from Ronald Reagan Airport (DCA) and drove us to their lovely home with a HUGE ranch in Maryland.
We were so tired from the long flight. We repacked some stuff because our tour starts next day. Temperature was 2C!! I had to cover myself with an electric blanket! LOL!!

Travelog Day 1: 23 Hour Plus Flight
DH, myself, cousin-in-law HG and MG went to East Coast for the Holy Week break without the kids. All I can say it was the longest flight I took in my entire life. 23 hours of total traveling time to finally land at Washington D.C. We took Delta, because it has the shortest flying time (23 hours still).
First transit was at Narita Airport. My first stop was the Ladies room LOL!!
High Tech!
Next we walked around the shops and saw beautiful origami paper art.
Japanese snacks so nicely packaged and wrapped.
We were hungry and had this
passed by Mc Donalds, could not believe the prices!
Then we got back up to the plane for the next 12 hours flight to New York transit to Washington DC. Right beside my seat there's a little commotion going on. One of the luggage panel was damaged by a passenger! Of course no one saw who did it, but this is the situation.. They tried to "taped" it back up, but it couldn't hold. They had to consult with the Chief Captain if flying is safe without the panel. I started praying, oh please.. I hope it's ok, because we'll miss the next connecting flight! Finally after 30 minutes delay, the flight was given a clear signal to go! Hayy Thank You Lord.
Finally I watched "The Blind Side" starred Sandra Bullock. She won Best Actress at the Oscars for this film. Very touching movie.
Zzzzzzzzzz.......
