I haven't shared/blog anything about what happened for the last 4 weeks! Been so busy, during and after the trunk show; never ending mommy and house duties! I'm not complaining but just saying that comparing my life 10 years ago being single has totally change and I love that I have a family to take care now, who I know needs me and I love taking care of them back!
Now that my kids are 7 and 4, they're a lot easier to handle and bring along with me wherever I go. There is already sort of a routine at home like what time they wake up; get them ready; go to school with them; yaya bring hot lunch to them; I work while they're in school; kids back home at 3.30; rest; I tutor them; I cook dinner Monday to Friday; nightly family devotion lead by DH and finally, tuck them in to bed :)
These are my blessings everyday and I thank God how my life has transpired to balance time with family, friends, work, leisure, travel, etc.. I am happy where I am right now and God allows me to live my dream, everyday. Thank You Lord. You are Amazing.
Just last weekend DH and I took the kids for a beach getaway with good friends BP and AP and their kids. I'll share some photos that I took, the simple joys I share with my husband, kids and friends. If you have a lot of stress I suggest you MAKE time to go see and feel the ocean, the mountains, lie down and breath fresh air.. I guarantee it will bring you back to a right perspective..
Yesterday, the 3rd brother of DH, my Brother-In-Law Attorney ZC, married the love of his life, Dra. TP.
Dear Son is the Ring Bearer; Dear Daughter is one of the flower girls. Dear Husband made a speech about his brother during the reception at the Makati Shangri-la Hotel.
It was a happy day for the Big Clan. DH and most of his cousins (61 of them; all first cousins; excluding spouses) are very close to each other. 8 years ago when I married my husband I'm nervous to be part of a large family.. 8 years after I've made great friends and was very close to many cousins in laws! What a blessing :)
Today was special because my Dear Son joined the 1st Alaska Iron Kids, 6-8 age category 1km run, held at the Manila Polo Club. DH and I just want to expose him to love the sport and have fun and we're so glad he did, in spite of his persistent cough these past few days.
I'm so sure the parents are more anxious than the participants! I remember the organizer held out the microphone earlier and his exact words are "Did you see all the ambulances around the area, they're not for the children but for all the nervous parents!" Another time he said "Parents if you are around the field we're not going to start!" I'm guilty as charge.

Few days ago, some friends posted 2 short films/commercial clip at Facebook. Which I've seen and touches my heart and soul. I forwarded it to friends/family. These films are created/directed by the late Yasmin Ahmad, she's from Malaysia.
I did some researched on her and this is what I found at Wikipedia:
Yasmin Ahmad (July 1, 1958 - July 25, 2009) was a critically-acclaimed multi-award winning film director, writer and scriptwriter from Malaysia and was also the executive creative director at Leo BurnettKuala Lumpur. Her television commercials and films are well-known in Malaysia for their humour, heart and love that crosses cross-cultural barriers, in particular her ads for Petronas, the national oil and gas company. Her works have won multiple awards both within Malaysia and internationally.
Her first feature length film[4] was Rabun in 2002. Yasmin's films have won many international awards and praise from the critics and public alike. Most of her films have been screened at the Berlin, San Francisco, Singapore and Cannes (film market) international film festivals. Her films were featured in a special retrospective[5] at the 19th Tokyo International Film Festival in October 2006. An April 2007 retrospective[6] of her feature films was sponsored by the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, University of Hawaii, and the Honolulu Academy of Arts. In Singapore, Yasmin is best known for the pro-family commercials she did for the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports[7]. She died July 25, 2009 due to Stroke. I don't know her until I saw these 2 short films, that made me cry each time I watched it. She's a genius that uses her talent in advocating pro-family values.
