No Longer A Baby

I've been delinquent in my blog. Sorry! There's so much I want to share but have been busy with so many things daily. I've been sick for some time with "Vertigo" and have been seen by couple of doctors.. Also cervical spine pain as well. Long story how I cope up. Well, I'm better now, I'm strong as a cow. Thank you Lord.

I'll try to share some happenings from last couple of weeks..

My little girl is 4. Sigh. Can't get over it, I'm happy because she's growing and blooming to be a fine kid and at the same time sad because she's no longer a baby nor a toddler.. she's already a preschooler. I felt the same way with my eldest son when he turned 3, then 4 then 5.. now 7.. can't stop the time, can't stop.. can't get enough of them and keeping them mine forever.. I need more time..

Last weekend we celebrated her birthday from Friday-Sunday. We checked in at a new hotel called Hotel H20 just behind Luneta. I didn't know what to expect, except that I know the rooms have huge aquariums. I booked over the phone and got a good rate. When we got there and entered the room, I'm so impressed!

30+ Something Birthday

I interrupt my travelog to show you some pics of my birthday. The pics are all halo-halo from gifts & food & cards from family & friends.

The actual day is a Tuesday. Treat from DH- Emperor Chinese Food in Mall of Asia. Just us and the kids.

My D12 ladies with husbands prepared a Nigella inspired dinner at BN & SN lovely house. Everyone brought Asian dishes (mostly Thai)

Had such a lovely evening! I Thank God for the gift of friendship! Some of the nice gifts I got, both functional & practical! Love them all. I forgot to take the picture of a pair of hot pants from GT!

Lord Heavenly Father,

I thank you for all the years of staying by my side thru good and bad, giving me good health, a nice fun job & career, having a wonderful family & true friends. What more can I ask? I will not lie to you and never will because I'm asking more.... I'm asking more time with my husband, my kids, grow old with them, see my children grow to become man & woman after Your heart, grow in wisdom and excellent character. I want to see success in my children the way You define 'success'. More time & opportunity to share your love to other people. More time to travel with my husband & children. More time with my own parents (they are not getting younger). And lastly, I want to grow more in love with You, be faithful & obedient to you, for the rest of my life...

Happy Birthday to DH!

Today is DH's Birthday! I've been saying this for the last 8 years and today I'm going to say it again that he is my best friend, advocate, encourager, motivator, mentor, adviser, partner in praying/fasting/parenting!

His cake this morning, the kids sang for their Daddy.

DH knows how to connect with our kids. I am more strict, while he allows them to have lots of fun, including painting their faces!

We had simple celebration, nothing fancy today. Forgot to take pictures of dinner with my in-laws. But the time/laughter & the jokes are priceless.
