No Longer A Baby

I've been delinquent in my blog. Sorry! There's so much I want to share but have been busy with so many things daily. I've been sick for some time with "Vertigo" and have been seen by couple of doctors.. Also cervical spine pain as well. Long story how I cope up. Well, I'm better now, I'm strong as a cow. Thank you Lord.

I'll try to share some happenings from last couple of weeks..

My little girl is 4. Sigh. Can't get over it, I'm happy because she's growing and blooming to be a fine kid and at the same time sad because she's no longer a baby nor a toddler.. she's already a preschooler. I felt the same way with my eldest son when he turned 3, then 4 then 5.. now 7.. can't stop the time, can't stop.. can't get enough of them and keeping them mine forever.. I need more time..

Last weekend we celebrated her birthday from Friday-Sunday. We checked in at a new hotel called Hotel H20 just behind Luneta. I didn't know what to expect, except that I know the rooms have huge aquariums. I booked over the phone and got a good rate. When we got there and entered the room, I'm so impressed!

Travelog Day 7: NYC - West Point - Woodbury Outlet - NYC

Sorry it took me so long to continue my US Travelog. Been extremely busy from mommy duties, work & something NEW is brewing career-wise, so friends, watch out for that!

"Much of the history we teach was made by people we taught." The oldest military academy in the United States. West Point trains more U.S. Army officers than any other single institution. A high proportion of distinguished American generals have been West Point graduates, including two American Presidents (Grant and Eisenhower) and many famous generals (Robert E. Lee, John J. Pershing, Omar Bradley and Douglas MacArthur).

East of this great academy is one of the world's top shopping destinations.

Woodbury Common is a shopaholic's dream -- designer clothing at bargain prices! The mall now has 220 stores occupying more than 800,000 square feet and is one of the largest contiguous outlet centers in the world. You'll find tremendous great deals here and not just on clothing, there are stores for home furnishing, jewelry, luggage, leather, gifts and specialty items as well. Sad to say, we forgot to take pictures!!! We're so excited to start hoarding that we didn't have one single shot in this famous outlet! I went straight to my favorite brands like Tory Burch, Chanel, Converse, Lululemon, Oakley etc.If you come to New York, this place is a must visit for shopaholics!

After all the shopping we were so tired. Our guide brought us back to our Hotel. The Renaissance Newark Hotel.

Travelog Day 4: Niagara + Boston

We continue our sightseeing in Niagara Falls to see the majestic views of nature up close in the morning! It was freezing colddd brrr.

We also watched the IMAX Theatre Niagara Falls where you can experience Niagara Falls' incredible stories, and see the most complete collection of barrels that have fallen down the mighty Falls. 

The tour then proceeds to in Boston in the evening. It was a long ride and everyone was just sleeping! When we arrive, first stop was Chinatown. We ate the famous Boston lobster for dinner! And of course, Chinese food. We enjoyed it because it was a 'break' from all the American food that we were having for past couple of days.

It wraps up the day and we checked in at Sheraton Colonial Boston North Hotel & Conference Center. Our room...

Tomorrow we will explore the rest of Boston! I'm excited to see those Ivy league schools.

Travelog Day 3: Hershey, Pennsylvania + Corning + Niagara

From Washington D.C. we are headed for Hershey, PA-the sweetest place on Earth! We had the opportunity to learn how chocolate is made, see the Hershey's characters in person, and even try the delicious food and desserts.

We then head to the Corning Glass Center, featuring over 30,000 objects from every era of glass-making, including real glass-making on-site. Visitors can see the fragile art of glass-making. We witnessed firsthand craftsman and artisans handily making superheated glass into delicate decorative pieces.

Afterwards, we depart for American portion of Niagara Falls, to see the majestic "night views" of nature up close. It is important to note that Niagara Falls, consisting of the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls, features spectacular views in the nighttime.

It was such a hectic but fun day! We checked in at Holiday Inn Amherst at Buffalo NY. Beautiful Room!
