Farewell, Mr. Jobs
Today the world lost another great man. The modern day Thomas Edison.
Thank you, Mr. Steve Jobs. 1955-2011
The "-" in between those years, you made a difference and changed the world.

The Hearties
I hate to say goodbye to my babies.. especially to my Diamonds. As the demand is increasing in the world market, the prices of both rough and polished diamonds have increased since 2010.
As a Jeweller & Designer, I always have beautiful stones & materials to work on, I touch it, feel it and I get to imagine what design will bring out the best in these stones. After manufacturing I get to "wear" it first before anyone else. That's the time I "always" fall in love with every piece! In my mind, what if I just keep this one and not sell... My dear husband would then remind me "why are you still in business if you want to keep EACH piece that you make?" LOL!! Make sense right?? So I have separation anxiety whenever these babies get sold!
This is the part of my business and I love the refinement and class that ladies accustomed to appreciate the "high life".
Anyway "Hearties", both of you are now in good hands to a collector, who has an extremely good taste and buy for investment.

Dennis Lustico
Last week I went to Makati Shangri-la to watch the Fashion Show of Dennis Lustico, Holiday 2011 Collection.
Here's the complete collection. I got swooned by some the pieces, particularly number 6, 8 and 24.
I wear a size 2, but it doesn't mean I have a model's body hahaha! So after a few days I decided to drop by his Atelier and see.. if something fits me, but not expecting, just hopeful.. you know what I mean??
This is my first time to meet him and can I say he is one of the nicest fashion designer that I have met. Kind is the word, and very humble. I know a couple of fashion designers and usually they have a certain "mood" and "don't correct me" attitude. Mabait siya, I like him!
I went thru his collection and boom!! Number 24 is there!! yahoooo!! He asked me to try it on and I gave it.. and it fits like a glove!!!!! Except for the length, it was made for a 5'11 model! LOL!!
Number 6 is still in the rack, I tried it and it looks soooo nice, however i find the side and back detail too sexy, where will i wear this???
The color also reminds me of Marc Jacob's dress worn by Blake Lively & Fergie, because I have the exact same dress! LOL!!!
The finale..
Therefore.. the gorgeous blue gown that spells fashion standout.. is now part of my collection :)
Thank You Lord for bonuses like this.

Be Summer Wise!
I felt the scorching sun this morning as I make coffee in my kitchen and I knew that summer has definitely arrived! A very happy time for the children and moms too! I was relieved that school is over and I'm taking a break from tutoring also. This summer, I planned some activities for my kids to be busy and productive, away from cartoon TV and computer games!
I got them into ART this time. I enrolled them at Art Camp Bezalel to do painting, drawing and crafts at their Fort Bonifacio facility. Here are some of their works from the last 2 sessions and I'm glad they they are enjoying and using their imaginations!
I also want them to improve in MATH, so I enrolled them in ENOPI at Serendra branch. I like ENOPI Math because it encourages mastery in math skills and independent learning.
They will also join their school's READING Enrichment Class for 4 weeks. I started reading-out-loud with both my kids when they are 6 months old and I can say the benefits are profound for my children. Now they are 7 and 4, both of them loves to read and achievers in school.
And their favorite sport activity- SWIMMING.
When Dear son was 3 years old I enrolled him in swimming lessons at Bert Lozada Swim School. Check out their website they offer classes in many locations. The teachers are very good with toddlers. My toddler son was a cry baby but surprisingly, he learned his basics of dog paddling and strokes from his Teacher, Coach Joy. After summer class was over I hired Coach Joy to continue lessons weekly at our swimming pool in the condo where we live. He learned free style, backstroke, butterfly stroke etc. It has been 4 years since he started and swimming has now become an all-year-round sport activity for both my kids. My 4 year old daughter already knew how to swim on her own!
Dear son also joined Super Tri Kids events like this at age 6 1/2.
At the end of a hectic schedule for the day, Dear husband and I take turns encouraging them to read their Bibles and devotions before going to bed. They read one chapter each and we ask them questions like, "what is the story about?" "why did God punish the people?" The answers are very funny & amusing and I'm happy they are asking many questions.
Do they still watch TV and play with iPhones and iPad? Oh yes! but very minimal. I try my best to move my schedule around theirs so I can be with them and watch them in action. I keep them hands full, busy, creative & happy, well-balanced this summer.
